Guideline in External Review - Antinuclear Antibodies (ANA) Testing

An external review is currently open for the guideline below. Your participation is appreciated.

Antinuclear Antibodies (ANA) Testing

The guideline covers the primary care management of ANA testing for adult patients. The review consists of two steps:
  1. Review the draft guideline
  2. Complete the online questionnaire by April 28, 2024
Any additional comments on the guideline can be submitted by email to SKconsultationtools@health.gov.sk.ca

We depend on Saskatchewan health care providers to review the draft guideline. The external review involves:
  • Emails to target groups of family physicians, specialists and nurse practitioners;
  • Regular mail sent to a random sample of Sask physicians and relevant specialists
  • Emails to a group of key partners (if applicable) in areas such as pharmacy, laboratory procedures, health authorities, public health, and professional colleges and associations; and
  • Online draft and survey posted at https://www.ehealthsask.ca/services/Referral-and-Consult-Tools/Pages/SASKGuidelines.aspx for all Saskatchewan health care providers to voluntarily participate in the review process and provide feedback.
All feedback is reviewed by the SASK Guidelines working group.
